Useful tips on how to take care of your Jewellery

Always use a warm water solution with a mild detergent free soap.

Use only a soft bristled brush when cleaning your jewellery.

Avoid over exposure of your jewellery to water especially when you are bathing, swimming, water sports, dish washing, & laundry. Exposure of your jewellery to excessive water loosens the setting of gemstones and weakens the clasps. Bleaches and soaps leave stains on your jewellery and may adversely affect the precious metals. Daily practices for good maintenance.

• Remove your jewelry before bathing or performing housework.
• Remove your jewelry before performing any rough work s this may dent or scratch the metal and chip stones.
• Jewellery pieces do scratch and must therefore always be stored in fabric or felt-lined boxes, with divided compartments.
• Never attempt to repair jewelry yourself. Allow a qualified jeweler to fix clasps, settings, etc. Also have diamond settings checked once a year in your presence.
